Wildlife Supporters Tee Off at 4th Annual Golf Tournament

Yearly event helps provide funding for projects benefiting Pennsylvania wildlife and habitats

The Wildlife For Everyone Endowment Foundation held its 4th Annual Tee Off For Wildlife Golf Tournament on Friday, August 15, 2014 at The Links at Gettysburg. The one-day event helps provide money for projects benefiting Pennsylvania wildlife and its habitats. This year more than 60 golfers, spectators and volunteers attended the event, helping make it one of the most successful fundraisers held by the Foundation.

  • 2nd Place Team - Tyler Chubb, Dustin Chubb, Rick Conrad, Ken Rigby (61)

Teams of four golfers competed in the scramble format tournament under sunny skies with temperatures hovering around 80 degrees. Thanks to Confer's Jewelers in Bellefonte, PA, the popular 'Diamonds in the Rough' competition was held at the putting green between holes #9 and #10. After the tournament, all attendees received a buffet-style dinner and a short ceremony recognized the winners. Additionally, the Foundation held its live auction, Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle drawing.

"I thought this year's golf tournament was our best yet," said Wildlife For Everyone Endowment Foundation Executive Director Vern Ross. "I want to thank the golfers, volunteers, staff, board members and The Links at Gettysburg for making the tournament a success."
